TFC OMNIPHOBIC™
The aluminum fins of the air heat exchanger suffer from corrosion caused by the marine climate and air pollution. The TFC microglazing surface treatment prevents corrosion of the aluminum and keeps the surface clean, and thanks to the thin film, the heat transfer capacity of the fins remains high.
The brass panels on the façade of the building are coated with TFC microglazing to prevent the effects of corrosion, patination, and air pollution.
Lighting is also needed in chemically challenging conditions. The TFC-coated luminaires are resistant to chemicals, and maintains light output where traditional materials cannot be used.
