TFC MICRON™

The dyed 3D prints were coated with TFC microglazing to repel chemicals, moisture and dirt, and to bind the color to the surface of the print.

The TFC microglazing surface treatment in the mold makes the application of a release agent for each casting unnecessary. The gas-tight and very smooth TFC microglazing improves the quality of the surface and does not release residues that interfere with the surface treatment of the final product. The long-lasting omniphobic surface withstands repeated castings, making production more cost-effective and environmentally friendly.

Keeping aircraft surfaces clean is paramount to maintaining performance. Extremely lightweight TFC microglazing prevents adverse effects caused by ice, dirt, pollution and corrosion.
